About the Role:

The Group Head – Performance Marketing will be a key leadership position in the Growth Marketing department. This individual will be responsible for driving the success of paid media advertising campaigns, mentoring a team of specialists, and contributing to the overall growth of the agency’s performance marketing capabilities. The role demands a strong strategic mindset, hands-on expertise in digital platforms, and the ability to deliver measurable outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and oversee performance marketing strategies across multiple clients and industries, ensuring alignment with their business goals.
  • Identify new growth opportunities, emerging trends, and innovative approaches to improve campaign performance.

2.Campaign Management:

  • Plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, programmatic channels, and others.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics such as ROAS, CPA, CPL, CTR, and overall ROI, and implement data-driven adjustments as needed.

3.Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and upskill a team of paid media specialists and analysts, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support individual career development within the team.

4.Client Engagement:

  • Act as a strategic partner to clients, presenting insights, recommendations, and results in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Collaborate with client servicing teams to ensure client satisfaction and campaign alignment with business objectives.

5.Budget Management:

  • Efficiently allocate and manage media budgets to achieve maximum impact and return on investment for clients.
  • Ensure financial accountability and accurate reporting on budget utilization.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with creative, analytics, SEO, and social media teams to develop cohesive and high-performing campaigns.
  • Drive alignment between performance marketing and overall marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in performance marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing large-scale campaigns and teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of digital platforms, technologies, and tools such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, DV360, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex ideas to clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, A/B testing methodologies, and performance tracking.
  • Knowledge of current industry trends and best practices in paid media.
