Earth Hour India is part of a global campaign to raise awareness about global warming and show support for action on climate change. Organised by WWF, this is a worldwide campaign in which nearly 1,500 cities, including Delhi and Mumbai, will switch off their lights on March 28 from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm local time.
In partnership with HP India, the green technology partner for the event, Puretech Internet has redesigned the campaign website (www.earthhour.in) for Earth Hour India. The objective of the web site is to encourage users to pledge support for the event and participate in it by switching off their lights on March 28. The site has compelling visual design and content, beside a number of interactive features and sections such as a quiz and ideas sharing application to encourage user participation.
To drive traffic to the site, Puretech has adopted a 360-degree approach. It has extensively used social media platforms, such as Facebook, Orkut, YouTube, Flickr and Twitter, and search engines to drive tens of thousands of Indian Internet users to the Earth Hour web site.

Puretech Internet is to build an online customer tracking tool for the official web site of Croma Retail, the chain of electronic megastores owned by the Tata Group. The tool will help Croma deal with customer complaints more efficiently and enhance its service levels.
Complaints are currently filled by users through www.cromaretail.com, using an online form. The tool will track complaints right from moment they are submitted online through the form on the website till the final responses from Croma. The system will maintain all records of the complaints entered/ replied by each store, which will be available as reports to the authorized users at any given time.
A Super Admin will create and map different levels of system users to their respective administration rights. Based on these assigned administration rights, users will be able to respond within the system, view the status of various complaints and extract reports.
The system will give the real-time status at any time of the complaint cycle. And since this system is online, it can be accessed from anywhere.
The tracking system will be made up of two parts:
- The front end on the website from where the customers can fill their
complaints / feedback. - The back end Admin part that can be accessed by various Croma

Puretech is to build a Web-based Performance Management Tool for Emerson India to automate its existing performance assessment process. The online HR application, which has been built using the Microsoft Dot Net platform, will help track employee performance. It will be used by various companies in the Emerson India group.
The Performance Management Tool will enable employees to key in their achievements and rate themselves on their KRAs, to which their peers will add comments. The superior officers will then add their ratings, and an average score calculated according to a preset formula.
The HR department of each company under the Emerson India umbrella will administer the data for that particular firm. The secure tool will be accessible to authorized users through their login IDs and passwords.
